Great resource for small parts

In looking online for brass tubing, I found SmallParts.com. Not only do they carry numerous lengths and diameters of brass tubing, but also bearings, belts, gears, and all manner of great little precision parts. They’re going to come in very handy as I build my small-scale prototype(s).

  1. Are you familiar with McMaster-Carr? (McMaster.com) Lots of bits there, too. Also, I recently bought a handful of itty bitty drillbits from Drill Bit City’s Yahoo store. It was interesting drilling 0.032″ holes with a full-size drill press… 🙂

  2. Yeah, McMaster-Carr is a great site. They have just about EVERYTHING, and price isn’t too bad either. Someone once told me that they thought World Peace was in their catalog somewhere, if you can only find it (several thousand pages). *heh*
