I’ve never really rendered the Streetliner from this angle, but I’m loving the way it looks from behind. No tail lights or turn indicators, obviously, but the shape is very pleasing. This is based on the ATV drivetrain I’ve been thinking through lately.
I’d sort of like to see it with a wider squatter sport bike like tire at the back
I just doubt that there’s that much advantage to width in terms of handling. What that would mean is that the rear end is that much wider, and by extension, that much less aerodynamic. Narrower tires mean less rolling resistance and that means more MPG. This thing is also pretty long and lean, so a fatty rear tire might actually look kinda weird on the kind of big wheel I’d like to run back there.
